Mandalas and the Development of Consciousness:

A Life Cycle Level 1 Course

The mandala is a circular drawing described by Carl Jung as a “cryptogram (coded message) concerning the state of the self.”  This course will provide historical background of the mandala form and an introduction to Kellogg’s model for the development of human consciousness as manifested in mandala drawings.    Participants will create their own mandala drawings and learn how to use the mandala drawing as a healing tool for themselves and for others.   Learning opportunities will include didactic presentation, experiential activities, and small group work.  Opportunities for personal sharing and supervision will be provided.    ( details TBA)

Mandalas and the Development of Consciousness:

A Life Cycle Level 2 Course

This advanced intensive is intended for those with previous training in Kellogg’s Life Cycle theory and is meant to deepen understanding of this material. There will be an emphasis on color and form in mandala expressions throughout the Life cycle. The intensive will include a review of the Life cycle theory, theory associated with color and form found in mandala drawings, relationship of mandala theory to the chakra system, current research and ethics. Learning opportunities will include didactic presentation, experiential activities, small group work.  In addition, opportunities for personal sharing and supervision will be provided.  Please be sure that you have obtained releases for any client work that you bring for supervision.
